Tracy Munn, director and founder of Sew Simply Academy, has 48+ years of sewing experience and is the author of Sewing Simple Slipcovers, Sterling Publishing Co. Member of the Home Sewing Association, Sewing Educator's Alliance, and The American Sewing Guild.

In the spring of 2007, she decided to follow her heart and fulfill a dream of opening her own school.

So she went to work making a creative space right in her home for students to come to develop their skills. And the Sew Simply Academy was born.

In addition to teaching, Tracy does custom sewing for clients, particularly, slipcovers and cushions.
